From researching existing songs, looking back at my short analysis of each and after asking my performer and showing them to her, we both agreed the best song to do would be Gabrielle Aplin's Home, which is labelled by Parlophone Records. This is because I personally like the alternative themes that are included within the songs lyrics and video such as love, home and knowing who you are. My performer agreed on that she would be able to lip sync this song better than the others. Also since the song is about home, I could use an urban or nature setting that is local to us, making filming easier when picking a location. To fit in with the genre, wearing casual clothing would also be best as home is meant to represent comfort, but I will go more in depth when I plan my video. As an extra note, for the two ancillary tasks I could take more visual pictures with my performer in local areas too. In conclusion, this specific Indie Folk/ Pop song would be best to make a video of and inspire me to create promotional products that will go along with it.
